The Lagos State Government has postponed the commencement of the truck e- call up system at Lekki Epe corridor.
The State Government had proposed August 1 for the commencement of the call up system in the axis. New date for the commencement of the process is expected to be communicated to the public later.
A statement signed by Director Public Affairs, Lagos State Ministry of Transport, Bolanle Ogunlola (Mrs), said “After further consideration of Stakeholders request to extend the timeliness in order to give adequate room for full compliance, the Lagos State Government has postponed the commencement of E-Call Up system on Lekki-Epe corridor.
The State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi urged all Stakeholders to seize the opportunity to ramp up full preparation in readiness for the successful take off of the technology-driven solution of truck movement on the Lekki-Epe corridor”.
