The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion plan on Sura Ramp inward Osborne to facilitate asphaltic laying of the section of the road.
The repair work is scheduled for Wednesday August 21, 2024 between the hours of 10.00pm and 4.00am of Thursday, August 22nd, 2024.
To manage the traffic inflow to the affected section during the repair works, Motorists from the Third Mainland Bridge will not be able to turn right to access Osborne, they will move straight to Obalende or Onikan to continue with their journeys.
Similarly, Motorists from Sura will not be able to access the ramp, they will turn right to connect Onikan and continue their journeys.
The state Commissioner for Transport Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi implored Motorists to be patient as the diversion is part of the traffic management plans for the on-going rehabilitation works and asphalt pavement of the road section.
